My chest freezer is in a garage and the outside walls of the cabinet gets so wet it runs off on to the floor and then in the winter it forms ice all over the outside of the freezer, I have to defrost the outside to get in to the inside, any ideas of whats causing this problem, its a Norfrost C6EE-H which I`ve had approx 10 years
hi check door seal for splits ,raise freezer of garage floor eg ,place on two pallets,not on top of each other, place pallets side by side .thia will let the air circulate under the freezer and stop the freezer from attracting moisture from garage floor eg. no moisture =no condensation=no moisture to freeze . hope this helps good luck.
