How to re-magnetise a powercraft 7597 model pc1050 generator?

we bought this generator from aldi to help us out at the small horse sanctuary we set up a few years ago. (No power available as in the middle of nowhere.) We only use it once a week to fill up water troughs for any horses/ponies in the paddocks and water butts for mixing feeds.
A few weeks ago we started the generator up and it wouldn't put out any voltage. We stopped it and tried again several times to no avail. then the pull cord broke off. We put that back but still can't get any power from it.
we've been told to try re-magnetising it but there are 6 wires and we don't know which two to use to do this.
Please can anyone help as without the generator we will be forced to carry enough water for 10 horses and ponies across a 14 acre field knee deep in mud in the winter.

Powercraft D.I.Y, D.I.Y Tools Model Bought Help

try a 240v reversible drill .plug it in to 240v socket .start gennie put (mains powered) drill in reverse ,spin chuck backwards. I have re energized my Wolf gennie after it lost output this way. mind your fingers as if it works drill will reach full speed very quick so gloves would be a good idea.

Thanks, will pass that on to hubby so he can take a look. Genny is in pieces at present so easy to see all wires/connections etc.

I would not of thought that you can remagnetise it, The magnet would be a permanent magnet, the 6 wires will be from the windings, My fist guess at the problem would be the switch or cutout, if it is 110/230 I have know the switch for change over to burn out, You need to open up any panel, If you have not done so, and do a voltage check, start at the output socket, and work back. Also a good look around, to see if any obvious burn marks loos wires etc
