Mend Rowenta DG920 Steam Iron Generator

Steam stops after 5 minutes Rowenta DG920 Steam Generator Iron?

I have a Rowenta Expert DG920 Steam Generator Steam Iron.

It works fine for about 4-5 minutes and then no more steam comes out. I can hear the click of the steam valve. I need to switch off and cool for an hour then the cycle repeats.

What do you think it may be. Can it be repaired?. Can I obtain spares and DIY?

I have the same problem. Was anybody able to fix this or is it a case of having to buy a new iron?

Sorry can't help, but the same thing has happened to mine. It's worked fine for years and just this last month it has started to do exactly as you say yours does. It works fine for a short period then the steam stops, and as you say I switch off for a while and it works again.
