could anybody help me, ive got a speedfight 1 a/c, completly rebuilt engine and fitted a steel/cast barrel but i cuts out after five mins running, but restarts when stoped moving. could anybody give me advice on hw to get round this problem thanks...................
Hi, spark plugs, the lower the number the hotter they are, but i can't see how you know to change the grade of your plug when you're not able to do a plug chop(high speed run and cut the engine).Have you checked the ignition timing?

cheers ray b,not yet, i can`t take it on a long run. been told by bike shops the same thing, but it cuts out. the noise i get is the sound of tin catching, then a loud ticking then cuts out, its starts again runs for 2 mins ,cuts out ,then won`t start until its cooled down.
change the plug to a cooler 1 (bpr6) going to try a (bpr5 or bpr4)any ideas.
