programme knob just spins?

the programming knob on my hotpoint aquarius wmf740 just turns and wont select any specific programme its stuck on one programme.

Have same problem - having taken the lid of the machine (after disconnecting it from the mains power!!) and removed the control panel (~6 screws) - I took the programme knob off (takes some pulling) and found the plastic is cracked so its just spinning and not turning the selection control.

Have just tried to superglue it - but am looking for a replacement part.
