my lazy boy remote.. model 11500ser # 008073 top half of remote does not work. lower section does.

Open it up and clean the contacts and circuit board with alcohol.

Lazy boys were gaurenteed for life. Go to their store and raise hell. You need a new remote. The remote itself was probably a Leggett and Platt product. They are also on the web.
