Rover 414si, clutch problem?

Could any1 help me i know my clutch needs adjusted how do i go about this. If this is not the problem does any1 no how much a new clutch would cost for this type of car. Thank u. x

the clutch on this model is self adjusting and will need to be replaced a new one would cost about £220 from a good mechanic
