Mend Goodmans GDB1225DTR Bought Unit Set

Goodmans GDB1225DTR - recording?

Recently bought this unit - it cuts off the last few minutes of a film when recording...Can I set the recorder timer manualy or change a setting to allow the recording to 'over-run' the programme finish time (in case of a late start to transmission).
Any help appreciated

Cut to the chase.....Take it back to the shop/show your receipt, demand they either exchange it for another - or remedy the problem FREE of charge.
If it was purchased second hand (from a shop) do the same...If you got it elsewhere go to Goodmans web site and send them an email..
