Chances are it is the heating element faulty. Open the back panel and pull off the two wires to the heating element,, insulate them with tape then try the machine. If it still trips the mains then pull off the connector to the motor and try again. These are the two most common parts that trip the mains.If it is the heater then you need a new one, if it is the motor then try replacing the brushes......good luck.
