in reply to ck, it just normally push shut but its as if the latch is broke?

is there a hole at the top of the door?
Can you see the door latch through hole?
is it in locked position even though the door is open?
hook the door latch with something and pull the latch towards yourself hard.if your lucky it will reset.if its broken you will need to replace it by taking the panel off
