Ice dispenser does not work. What can cause the problem>?

Kitchenaid #KSCS23FTMS02 door ice dispenser does not work. The water dispenser does. All lights work. It is not in locked position and it is not in the HOL mode. I have disconnected the power to reset and nothing happened. I have cleaned out all ice cubes and other ice. When pushing the dispenser paddle the ice door opens, but the motor to the mechanism does not try to start.
