Help, can i get it repaired?

I got my pathescope gem from The Real Camera Co, Manchester.
Its beaufiful, but i got it more as collectors piece, as i collect old cameras, however its not fully working.
I am now keen to get it working correctly.
I asked T.R.C.Co. if they could repair it, they ,had it for 2 weeks but no joy, they told me a motor holding down bracket was broken, which throws the mechanism off centre. I did get it going but my gem smelled, could have been years of dust on the motor?
The motor was also sticking, I would love to get some old cartoons, Charlie Chaplin, Laural and Hardy and show them to friends.
Can anybody help me?
