Mend Toyota Hilux Start Car

Toyota hilux 1988 wont start?

I have a 1988, diesel, turbo, 2.4, hilux. It is a farm car and has never failed me. Its always jus satrts stright away, and recently when i tried to start i just turned over. Does anybody know what the problem could be and how to fix. Thankyou
