steam iron2200 steamglide how can i fix it?

my russell hobbs steamglide 2200 was working perfectly on Friday PM then in the evening the traffic lights came on and it beeped but the plate was not heating up have tried again today but no luck obviously power there but no heat can you help please iron not that old am probably missing something HELP
