How can i stop the alarm sounding on Zone 2 ?

what nick means is put it on a soak test,but you dont say what type of alarm you have,so you may not be able to do this,soak test monitors any activation,logs it but does not trip the alarm

Im with GTS, Its easy to Assume its the detector, and it probably is, But cob webs are difficult to see, and if one is in front of the detector it could easily false alarm.
Failing that you could isolate the detector inside the unit just to prove it is the detector and leave it for a week, Christmas decorations are terrible and causing false alarms at Xmas because people just dont think.

check for spiders webs or any heat source near the sensor,you should really check the voltage at the sensor too,it should be at least 12.75v.it could well be a faulty sensor,but its daft not doing basic tests before replacing a sensor,good luck
