how can i fix my sony genezi mhcgt444 hi-fi ?

hi i have a stereo mhcgt444 it was working fine up untill a few days a go when i came to switch it on it just cut off and flashes the standby button on and off i have to then turn it off by the mains and back on to stop the light flashing but then it just does same thing iv checked internal fuses all seems fine please can someone help
