adjustment of a watts toilet mixing valve ?

how do you lower the hot water adjustment of a watts ewas toilet anti-sweat mixing valve. and should i install a hand valve inline with hot water intake to valve? water leaks from valve when i turn in small screw to attempt to lower hot water going in to valve.
