why does my zanussi dishwasher dws909,stop halfway through aprogramme?

Very difficult, without seeing it. You say stops half way through, does it do most things, water in, can you hear the pump running etc etc. Does it stop at exactly the same point? Put a mark on the timer dial, as it goes round, does it stop at exactly same place. If so the program timer is faulty, they are mechanical, could have a damaged gear. Is it cold fill only, so it needs to heat the water in the unit. Is it heating the water, could be the heating element. I could go on and on. not enough space. Check above and post again if needed, with more details
