creda dishwasher carries on emptying ?

My Creda Integrated dishwasher model number 47918, carries on emptying when the door is open, it will not reset even when switched off and turned on again and permanently runs. tried reseting, a fault came on the display (F) but do not know what this relates to. any ideas.
