Hi I have a at the office shredder, model wm845xe Bought from Walmart.
I have a cd stuck in the blades and want to take the shredder apart. It has the slide out wastebin and the mechanism is in a casement. I have taken the screws out but can't seem to see how to remove it to allow me to get to the blades to get the remaining cd out.
In my case, there was a 6th screw hidden under a paper label. It reads "WARRANTY VOID IF LABEL IS REMOVED". When that 6th screw was removed, the casement came apart easily, to expose the gears and inner workings. (Model WM845XE)
