Mend Qualcast Electric 30 Mower

Motor running backwards on Qualcast Electric 30?

I stripped my mower for cleaning, put it all back together.Started OK but the motor was running clockwise instead of anti-clockwise. Despite everything I try I can't make it run the right way.Everybody I talk to says this can't happen, but believe me it has.Can I fix it or is it time for a new motor?
