red line on goodmans lcd??

i have a 2.5 to 3 inch width red line down the screen of my goodmans ld3755hd tv! It just appeared outta nowhere while watching a blu-ray, i know the tv is about 5 yrs old but surely this cant be the end for my 1st hd tv!?! Any ideas?
