First thing, move the cable, so that you do not trip over it again.
Depends on the internal connection method of the tv, might be wires, or soldered to a pcb.
You will need to remove the back to find out, if it was soldered in, resolder, if wires reconnect, a signal cable is usually just one wire with a braid around, so wire to centre, braid to outer.
