Mend HP w2207 Monitor Display

there is a 1/2 black border at the top of my screen?

have a HP w2207 monitor,,,there is a 1/2 border at the top no matter what I do to the menu button on the mnitor itself...and ideas>

My guess would be that something is broken in the monitor.

Personaly, I would'nt ask questions and just start looking for a new one.
