how can i fix ?

i have just had my washing maching plumbed into my new house it started as usual when i put a wash on but then it started to show letters where the time usually goes and is flashing at the side how do i fix this its a whirlpook 6th sense aa 5.5kg washing machine

Would be a big help if you gave all the relevant info. Such as what letters etc are showing that will be the fault code.

could be the plumbing, pull the drain hose from the connection under the sink and make sure theres a hole for the water to drain away
