Mend Sony DVP-CX700 Dvd Player Spinning

My Sony dvd player is not reading the dvds?

Dvd's are spinning, but nothing is being read. Have cleaned the dvd player, switched dvd's, turned everything off and unplugged it. Nothing works. It spins a dvd, then stops and goes on to the next one, and so forth.
