Mend Opel Tigra Twin Top Problem Miles Sound

tigra twin top?

no bleeping sound when trying to open boot or roof . boot opens half way then stops. roof wont open . only 2100 miles last year not used much .could it not work due to lack of use

Not sure on this one but i would defo try some dw40 on all the linkages just in case there sticking through lack of use? this stuff is fantastic when you have scratched your head for hours thinking it must be more serious?
