Could it be suspension rods on my Hotpoint WM31 that's making a knocking?

I have just got hubby to replace the brushes but now when the spin cycle gets going it is making a knocking noise. Confused, how can I replace the rods...from the front of the machine? Help!! What else could make a knocking noise? (Like the drum is banging/something against the side of the machine!)

it could well be the concrete weight on top of the tub or at the front down under the door seal also check that the air hose from the sump hose upto the pressure switch is clipped in place on the side of the tub
