Hi have a hotpoint WMD960P (UK) R washing machine and a drum paddle has broken off. I have bought a replacement which is identical, but I'm sruggling to fit the new one. There is a raised metal part on the drum in the middle - its stiff, does this have any relevelance when fitting?
Dont forget to remove from between the drums whatever foreign object broke the lifter fixings off in the first place- before you refit the new lifter!!
