Will the key work in the passenger door or boot?

Stick a new battery in the key? Not sure if that will work though as the key might have lost sync depends on model year.

Try it, if it doesnt work are you in the AA, RAC, greenflag etc? They can sometimes help, especially if it is an older car and the deadlocks have not been set.

Is the doorlock broken or just seized, can you spray some lock oil in to it and gently turn the key back and forward a few times to loosen it?
