Vivitar 3660?

I have Viviat 3660 Digital camera and all in working order but when i put a memory card in and try to take a photo a padlock sign flashes where the memory card sign is. Have checked the memory card and lock is off and even bought a new memory card but it's still staying locked...any ideas???
