Mend Renault Megane Window Inside

window cable tangled?

I have a 03 megane with the window cables tangled around a motor inside the door and the door will not close. any body know how this happens.
was told to cut the cables and lift the window by hand, anybody know any other solutions

there has been numerous posts on this site regarding regulators on renaults,and lots of answers saying renault covered part of the cost for repair,either you can approach your local main dealer for advice or remove your door card for a look your self
