why cant I move the motorhome?

I have a 1988 georgie boy cruise air II. I tried to move it and altough it started and ran fine when I put it in gear it would not move foreward or backward. Seems to be shifting OK and you can see the linkage moving it into gear. I started it again and put it in neutral to tow it but it would not budge.
Any suggestions?
