my sony dvd is not showing video ?

i press the display option in the remote and press i see one by one the option in the dispaly then in one option "custom" it ask password then i enter 1234 i opened in that "back ground" i seen then i opened there is four option i dont liked that option for background then down ''progressive'' then i opened , in that five seconds the option in outer we can select image and select as back ground then i also seen and enter the yes option from that time my dvd player is not showing video only audio is playing , i repalced to another tv also its not working pls give solution to solve it.
