Beko Washing machine light wont come on, door wont open?

My washing machine has decided not to open its door. the ready light does not illuminate. i have tried switching off and on, but made no difference. i went out and when i came back the light was on. i opened the door and found all the clothes were soaked so hoping it was fixed (it has done this before randomly last year and was fine again) i put them back in intending to put them on a spin cycle. when i closed the door the light went out again and i can now no longer open it or operate any programmes. any advice?? :)
