CD Changer Error?

After i changed the battery of my 2005 6cd player, all I get on the screen is "CD Changer Error" and all I hear is clicking sound like the cd is trying to change. This sound also happens each time I open the door and get into the car. The radio works fine but not the cd player. HELP?
