How do I replace the clutch cable - Hayter Harrier 41 autodrive?

I need to replace the clutch cable on my Hayter Harrier 41 autodrive lawn mower, so that the mower is self-propelled again. I have a new cable, but cannot find where the S-shaped nipple fits, under the deck, on the friction plate?
