Mend Oster 6330 Lever Wont Down

Lever for my Oster 6330 won't stay down, how do I fix?

Cleaned my toaster by emptying tray and turning upsidedown and shaking out crumbs, now when I plug it in, the lever will not stay down regardless of temp setting. I already brushed off the magnet, but it still will not engage.
