corsa keeps loosing charge and dying on me ?

the battery wont keep charge lights go dim dont know where to start plz help

Either the battery is knackered and won't keep a charge or the alternator is dud and wont recharge the battery.Get a voltmeter and put on battery terminals,with engine off it should read more than 12.4 volts if the battery is good,with engine running should read over 14volts if alternator is good.
