Zanussi ZWX1605w When Program selected and start pressed does not start ?

When the program is selected and I press start all the program and indicator lights go off, only the power on/off light remains on. the program does not start.

The door is securely closed and the detergent dispenser tray is fully in - An help would be appreciated
