Mend Grundfos UP 15-50 Water Gravity Fed

is my c/heating pump working?

i live in a bungalow
my water is getting hot ok (gravity fed?)
myradiators do not get warm
how do i check to see if my grundfos selectric up 15-50 central heating pump is working?
thanks in advace for any suggestions

undo the chrome nut in centre of pump you should be able to see shaft rotating if not spin it with a small cross blade screwdriver if it starts up it had either jammed or the capacitor is faulty if it doesn't start you need a new pump (the direction to spin it is on the pump)

you can usually feel it vibrating, if its not you will need to check that power is getting to the pump as it may be your thermostat broken or a wiring fault.
