Mend Ford Mondeo Changing Gear 2nd

Knocking noise when changing gear in mondeo?

My mondeo y reg tddi is making a knocking noise when i change gear from 2nd onwards, anyone know what exactly causes this please?

could be driveshaft got play in it or gearbox mounts loose or wornengine mount loose or worn or ball joint on botoom suspension unit going you will just have to jack car up and see if any play in any of items just told you about and replace
