Mend Hotpoint wf340 Lights Panel Turn

why won't the lights on the front panel stop flashing. ?

I own a Hotpoint Aquaris wf340. I try to turn it on this morning and all the lights on the front panel started flashing and have an hour later not stopped. I cannot switch it off. It has happened twice before but quickly stopped and carried on with the programme. Is it serious? I have insurance. Thank for your help.
