how can I fix my Sharp microwave combi turntable?

the turntable is very intermittent. turns maybe one complete revolution then stops. it might turn once more BUT normally now just stays in one position. no matter how long the timer is set for.

Turntable motors only about £35 for this model. However do not know how to fit it. Mine has just gone so i will take the bottom off and see what I find.

darn if we have to get a new oven.

Check the connection, the turntable connects to the base via a socket, Is it connected fully, are any support wheels off. Anything obstructing the turntable, (burnt food etc etc. As long is it all lifts out, give it a good clean If that ok, probably the turntable motor. Probably cheaper to get a new one
