Mend Panasonic NN-CD3 Microwave Convection Repair

panasonic dimension 3 microwave convection oven?

Have had this quite some time and microwave still heats up although a little spotty at times. This, I believe, is due to the turntable not working properly. Perhaps the belt has worn out to the point it hardly turns. Would the turntable be worth fixing and is this something I could repair myself? Convection oven works fine (hardly used).

booo hoooo...tried to start my Genius Mw/convection yesterday (CHRISTMAS) amd all I got was a read-out with lots of F's......clock works, I can key in time etc.but willnot start......

Parts update
Uh Oh. PartStore.com just let me know that they no longer have the replacement belt and it's no longer made. Error in their computer inventory gave me false hope.

I just ordered a replacement belt from PartStore.com for $14.95. Haven't received it yet to see if it's the real deal, but pleasantly surprised I could find someone who even listed it.

Had the same problem, took it apart and replaced the worn-out belt with a thick elastic band. The elastic lasted over a year, but then I had to do it again. Wish I knew the proper size of the elastic belt... Still think this microwave is better than most of the new chinese-made crap.
