can i upgrade the c p u?

First thing: Carefuly read the user manual of your computer. Pay attention to the section about the available/supported CPUs.
The maker's site should have a PDF vrsion available if you don't have the printed version. (it's in spanish and I don't read spanish)

In that list, find the CPU that is actualy installed into your computer.
If it's the top model, you already have the best CPU that your motherboard can support. Don't change anything!

If the motherboard can support a beter CPU, find one that you desire installing. Get the new CPU.
The new CPU MUST be of the same brand:Intel, AMD, Cyrix,... as the various brands are NOT socket compatible.

The CPU line you need may be discontinued. In that case, if you can't find a shop that still have it in stock, you can't get a new one and can't upgrade.

Once you have the new CPU, unplug the computer and open the case.
Find the CPU, unplug the fan and remove the heat sink.
Unlock the old CPU from the socket, remove it and place the new one. Lock the CPU in the socket.
Apply a thin layer of thermal compound.
Fit the heatsink back on the CPU.
Reconnect the fan.
Close the fan and power up for about 5 to 10 minutes and power down. Wait about half an hour to let the thermal compound set.

You can now use the computer normaly.
