how can i remove the glass from my ariston oven door so that i can clean it?

Really helpful, needed to remove my door for repair and was having difficulty this helped. Thanks

If it's similar to the FM51IXGB I have just got my door off.

Look at the hinges where they diappear into the oven carcass. YOu should see a little metal cover over the top part of the lug that enters into the carcass. (This is like a shoe that you may find as a catch on a gate in the country).

Once I lifted this up on either side it allows the hinges to be wiggled upwards (you'll need to have the door nearly shut so you can wiggle it vertically upwards)

Hey presto the door pops off.

You now have access to the screws necessary to replace the glass.
