Fujitshu G820 Cash Register Printer not functioning properly?
We have the above CR for our soccer club and have replaced the ink roller but we are only getting a couple of numbers printing 3's 4's and occasionally 2's nothing else and yet the printer wheel is engaged with the ink roller and appears to rotate when the relevant keys are pressed on the register but nothing prints on the tear receipt at all and the permanent transaction roll again 3's and 4's. When we Z the machine again only 3's and 4's print the machine other wise appear to work correctly.
If it's the type of printer I think is is, the numbers are all on a drum.
You may have knocked the drum out of timing when you replaced the roller.
You can try jumping the drum back into timing on tooth at a time.
