Mend Renault Megane 1.6 16v

ideling?on engine?

i have a renault megane 1.6 16v convertable the tickover ticks over about 500 when hot it idles about 1000 when cold i cant seem to get the tickover right i have replaced the coil packs and just rsplaced the idle control valuve and its still the same any suggestions john
