wow, don't throw it away dear.
from what i know about most nokia phones, if it was only in water for a few seconds then you should dis-assemble the phone.. take off all the covers, the keypad, the battery, the grips etc... i don't know how far you can go, i havent tried disassembling my nokia3220 yet.
then just leave the pieces to air dry, DONT put it in the sun to dry, it'll mess up the phone. Thats all u need to do, nokia's are really good that way, they have a lot of damage-absorbers.
If it was in water for a considerable long time, you may need to take it to a prefesional who will apply a drying spirit (sum kind of alcohol that fixes water-damages).
If it was in water for like AGES to the point u see SPARKS AND FIZZLES, then my friend, as we say in my country, shauli yako baba, ur in trouble...
